Hi! I’m Ankur 👋🏻

Hello from an alpaca farm in Peru

I have spent the last 3 years of my life trying to make the tax code in America more accessible. This guide is the culmination of that effort.

A little bit about my background:

I’ve been an entrepreneur my entire life. I started a company called Teachable in my 20’s that I scaled to a $60M+ in revenue and a $250M sale.
In 2022, I started **Carry,** an online platform to help business owners and high earners pay less in taxes. We’ve helped thousands of people reduce their taxes in the last 3 years.
In 2025, I created **Silly Money,** a free newsletter and community to empower high earners to make better financial decisions and grow their net worth.

But along the way… I’ve become a self-taught expert in the world of personal finance and taxes.

I’ve grown my social media following to hundreds of thousands of people following me on LinkedIn, Threads and Instagram.
